Here are my favorite holiday drink recipes:
HOT COCOA: Heat one cup of milk in a mug, stir in one tablespoon of sugar, and one rounded tablespoon of cocoa powder, stir well and ENJOY!!! Super easy, and very healthy. Cocoa powder has lots of health benefits and antioxidants, and it is much healthier than getting the premixed pouches. (You can also try this with organic coconut milk!)
HOT MACTCHA TEA WITH LEMON: Heat one cup of water, add one service of organic matcha powder, add 1/2 tablespoon of organic lemon juice, and stir together. Enjoy! Matcha is another one of those superfoods that are packed full of antioxidants! Matcha is healthier than regular green tea because it has 10 times the amount of nutritional value and antioxidant content!
MY HOLIDAY RED SANGRIA: I always buy frozen raspberries, peaches, blueberries, strawberries. I mix about 1/4 cup of each into 4-6 oz. of alcohol-free red wine (the alcoholic one is also an option, of course!), I add orange slices to the rim of the glass and it's awesome!
THE GRINCH EGGNOG: So I get organic eggnog (about 4 oz.), and 4 oz. of organic whole milk. I blend this mixture with either a spoonful (or serving) of matcha powder, or a spoonful/serving of green superfood powder. I blend it in the blender, and I might add whip cream on top if I decide to get crazy!
